INDIVIDUAL EXHIBITION IN BERLIN

The 1989 Exhibition in Berlin was the first of many individual exhibitions. Karsten Klingbeil developped 2 ideas which proved successfully during all later exhibitions.

At the exhibition entrance was a large sign with the request "Please touch ! !": Sculptures are three-dimensional,they should be seized not only with the eyes but with the sens of touch. This was a sensation, because in principle touching is forbidden in all art exhibitions.
The public was too happy to make a great use of this request.

From this time we always put a guestbool near this sign during each exhitbition. The visitors made a great use of it too. We shall be glad to let anyperson interested have a llook at all the nice things our visitors wrote..
